This is my first post using Windows Live Writer, which so far seems pretty good; and it's handy having those Office style touches, like spell checking.

It seems to be pretty easy to embed content too, easy to select video's/maps/images etc.

I do notice that you can set tags and categories, but can't add new ones, which could be a bit of a pain. It would be nice not to have to login to your blog just to add/update them.

I'll post another thoughts and reactions on Windows Live Writer again soon once I've had time to use it a bit more.
